Every golfer enjoys the game more when they’re hitting good shots and playing well. This is our mission for you.

We offer expert tuition available from a PGA qualified Professional. We offer a wide range of tuition options including Individual, Grouped and On-Course playing lessons. The Club has excellent facilities for coaching and practice, including a covered Driving range, large putting green, and an excellent short game green.

Mark Pilkington - PGA Professional

Our Golf Professional, Mark Pilkington, took over at the Club in August 2018. Mark has been involved in golf for most of his life. After being introduced to the sport by his father John Pilkington, then the professional at Nefyn Golf Club at the age of 4, over the years Mark has competed successfully at junior and men’s amateur levels – winning the Peter McEvoy trophy, runner-up in the British Boys Championship, representing Wales at both home international and European levels and then success as the Welsh Amateur Champion in 1998 and heading the order of merit the same year. This culminated in being chosen to represent GB & Ireland in the Walker Cup squad. The success of 1998 saw Mark turn professional and enter the qualifying school for the European tour, with his father by his side he gained the 16th European tour card for the 1999 season. He went on to compete on the European tour for 6 years and 5 years on the Challenge tour with many notable performances:- * 4th Qatar Masters, Doha Golf Club. * 4th Wales Open, Celtic Manor. * 3rd West of Ireland Classic, Galway. * Winner Kazakhstan Open 2006. * Winner Challenge Tour order of merit 2006. * Course Record -9, 63 at Doha Golf Club, Qatar Masters. * Course Record -9, Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche, France, Trophée Lancôme. * Welsh PGA Champion 2019 Following a playing career in 2014 Mark commenced his PGA training, winning both the North region assistant’s order of merit and the full order of merit – becoming the first person ever to do so. In 2017 he completed his training attaining 7th best student of the year.
